School Violence

School violence is a major issue in our community. In Detroit, talk of two schools merging came about. The violence between two rival gangs from each school would have been too extreme, eliminating the idea to merge. This is one of the more extreme cases. Milder types of violence occur in many schools throughout the area. There is a lot you can do to help keep violence out of our schools. There are organizations you can be apart of, and even just talking to your child about how bullying is wrong is a huge step towards removing violence from our schools.
